Rocky Road to a sweet ending.
Hi Barb!
Well, my stay at Beaches/Sandals was rocky! Beaches had Walt and l coming in on Friday instead of Thursday which caused us to have our wedding consultation on Saturday. Which, we missed out on an excursion we planned to do with the family.
I even asked them at the front desk when we arrived when will the wedding consultant contact us and she said the next day. Friday came and no call until around 12 noon l went to the front desk to find out about the consultant, they called her and she finally came and that’s when she said they wasn’t expecting us until later that day (Friday afternoon). The resort’s power was horrible! Their power kept going out which cause the elevator to stop working, by this happening cause my grandmother which was in a wheelchair to miss a dinner l reserved for everybody. The day Walt and l was leaving we had a 1pm appt to view our wedding photos and we didn’t leave until 5:30pm to go to Sandals due to their multiple power outages (3-4x). By the time we got to Sandals on Monday our day was wasted because we were drained due to the amount of hours we spent in the photo office. On another note, they did have everything l asked for with the wedding. I have no complaints about that.We just had one issue with Sandals. They didn’t have information about our spa appointment, which l had to show proof that it was paid for. They still had to make phone calls about it after l showed them proof.
I know l picked Beaches in Ocho Rios. The only reason l picked it was because l had a great time at Beaches in Negril for Michelle’s wedding and when we went back that following year. Only way l would go back to Beaches in Ocho Rios is if they upgrade their power.
It truly was a pleasure working with you, Barb! I couldn’t do any of it without you! I was already overwhelmed with the wedding stuff, by you handling all travel issues took a lot of weight off of Walt and I. We most definitely will recommend you to anyone looking for a travel agent!!! YOU WERE AWESOME!!!!
